Can anyone confirm that I did indeed see a lowish flying Nimrod heading south from a Waddington direction flying over Cranwell to where I dont know, Between 9:30 and 10:00 this morning (Sunday 6th feb).
A very unexpected treat although I only got a fleeting glimpse before it vanashied. Not sure on type other than it was in the desert colours.
Regards
Dave

I will leave it to somebody who knows for sure, to say, but I guess so.

On its way out to its last tour, so you did see something quite unusual.
Does that mean the other one will be on it’s way back?

Nothing too odd about that Dave, 51Sqn at Waddo operate the last 2 Nimrods for another month or so (even at weekends!)
