ME 262

At the risk of getting shouted at.(I have done a search and couldnt find what I wanted)

Some considerable time ago ME262 aircraft had gone into limited reproduction based around I think reverse engineering of an ex museum aircraft in the USA using modern engines.

Then if I recall correctly there were a lot of problems and on off with the project and di the original company fail ?.

It was rumoured we may see one in the UK.

What ever happened to them all .did they get finished have any flown and are we likely to see any of them in the UK and Europe in the future or was it just a good idea at the time ?.
