I know, it’s another dreary antiques show and I would not normally watch it but this episode features a 5 minute segment on Just Jane at East Kirkby.
Starts at the 25 minute point.
Pretty standard stuff, a bit about Bomber Command’s wartime effort, about the Lancaster’s contribution in particular and then the antique expert gets to sit in the pilot’s seat while the engines are run up.

Mrs SH called out at the appointed moment and so I enjoyed the sequence – nothing new or revealing, but who needs an excuse to watch and hear 4 Merlins start up and run…..:D
