Steve Thompson

Very saddened to hear of the loss of Steve. My thoughts are with his family.
He was a cracking guy. I was lucky to know him for many years. Steve (and Tony Southern) of the Cotswold Aircraft Restoration Group helped me when I was but a young whipper snapper. They helped countless static and airworthy aircraft and projects. I later served on the BAPC committee with him.

Steve was an unsung hero of grass roots aviation heritage. Fly high old chap.
