OK, I think this belongs in here, as it is a memory from long ago, featuring a Lightning!
There was a popular kids TV programme called Runaround with Mike Read, where children answered questions and collected points for prizes. It ran in the late 70’s and early 80’s – Do any of you remember an episode being shot at a RAF base and they brought on a Lightning complete with pilot? Being only 14 at the time (1979 could be even 1980?) it impressed me greatly!
It was in the dark ages before many people had VCR – I just wondered if anyone could recall this and are there any clips out there?
