Can anyone help with the identification of this part? It appears to be of British origin and has an illegible inspectors stamp and what could be a date stamp of 42. One side has LEFT RUDDER (an arrow) ELEVATOR UP engraved into it. On the other face it just has ELEVATOR engraved, the notches in it would suggest it was some sort of selector? I just found it strange that there would be engraving on both faces?:confused:
