Enemy Bearing Indicator – worrizit?

Here’s an odd thing.

AM Marked, with a full 360 degrees on the face. Turning the wheel on the right turns the needle.

On the rear, it says it is an ‘Enemy Bearing Indicator’

It must be part of something, but what?

Hi Bruce,

I have section 9 of AP1086 listed as :
Aircraft towed target gear & armament instruction equipment

Unfortunately I don’t have a copy of section 9 so not much further forward!

I had a similar one with `altitude` on it years ago…was told it was part of ground based training equipment.

Oooh interesting Bruce – any numbers at all? Could it be from the AGLT or serrate electronic warfare set ups? Just a guess of course…
