Having done a bit of surfing I found that 616 Squadron used quite a few different Marks of Spitfire, seven in total:-
i.e. Mk I, Mk II, Mk V, Mk VI, MkVII, Evaluated the first Mk XIV & used a Mk XVI post war! Is this a record for the most types operated by one unit or can this be beaten?

Presumably whichever squadron it is likely to be, the Spitfire will probably be the most common aircraft type, as so many variants were manufactured.
