I’m researching the colour schemes and configurations of the B 17s used by the IAF but only seem to have come across a couple of b/w images and some rather gaudy illustrations, if anyone can point me in the direction of some hidden gems it would be really appreciated.

Israeli Paints
The Israeli’s have their own paint system so it’s always best to do a bit of delving first..

I think it is also reproduced on an Israeli stamp which I have but am unable to access at the moment. 🙂

If you can wait on a couple of days I have detailed artwork and colour chips for this B17 colour scheme.. Are you wanting to do the one with Mickey Mouse on the tail?
PM your e-mail and I’ll send over the scans!
Phil.
