The airframe arrived at VL late this afternoon and is currently parked on the old Harrier tie down still to be unloaded.

XV586 finally left Leuchars yesterday, and was spotted heading south on the M5 today.

The museum (of which I’m quite familiar with), its existing Phantom, and the fact that this one won’t be going there (post#11) has all been discussed previously in the thread.:)
I don’t think anyone has confirmed that it will be a gate guard either.

The raspberry ripple phantom at boscombe is the exception i think as it was never a service aircraft however, i believe that all phantoms in museums are still on the “books” hence why i mentioned inventories
