One other thing that I need to go and pick up from today is a couple of Rotol Accessory gear drives (I think thats what they are called – at any rate a decent sized unit…) but all I could make out on the unit was 37L/xx (no idea how many numbers followed the 37L  )
My question is – having looked at the classification/grouping numbers, it doesn’t specify aircraft (other than a vague reference to general Harrier parts – and I doubt that applies over here !) – does anyone have any idea as to what aircraft these things were fitted to? I couldn’t get a picture today due to lighting conditions, but any pointers gratefully accepted !
Cheers

In 1947 AP1086 Vocab of Sections lists 37L as Rotal accessory gear boxes and drives, so you are spot on in your description, but it makes no reference to any specific aircraft type.
I think you might need access to AP1803 for more specific info.
