Books to Give Away

Ex library books, needing a good home. Just pay for the postage and packing please. They’ll be some more being made available after I’ve read them, so the post will be bumped.

If anyone else has books to give away, you might want to post them on here.

‘Aircraft’ vols 1-5. Each about 6″ x 3″ hardback. Published by BCA, these were those series which came with book clubs (remember?). Good for condensed histories of many types.

Portal of Hungerford. The Life of MRAF viscount Portal of Hungerford KG, GCB, OM, DSO, MC (I didn’t know he was an MC, well ahead of his time :)). Hardback, illustrated, about 400 pages.

Eagle Day The Battle of Britain Richard Collier, 8″ x 6″, published by Dutton in 1980. I wonder how different this history is from recent tomes? I don’t know, becuase I hav’nt read it. Has a painting on the front of a baddie (black contrail, so it must be a baddie) going ‘EEEOOOWWWW PLONK!’ into water.
