TonyC there is a two-seat Harrier ‘preserved’ (it’s kept indoors) at Coventry University.

It’d be nice to see one of the 2-seaters’ preserved

It’d be nice to sit one next to YAM’s GR3. Or am I being greedy…?:o

I think 8 have already been earmarked and know that one of the airframes has already been retired due to reaching the maximum hours.

I’d like to see Duxford get one but as they’ve already got the GR3 I’m not sure, probably Hendon at a guess and if any are put up for tender it would be nice to have a ground runner at Brunty (unlikely though).

Why not sell them to the Afghan air force, then in 40 years time the survivors might be found on a rubbish dump and restored for the Shuttleworth collection, just like a previous Hawker product.
