Spit ID

Yes I’ve been talking to Dad again and he says he remembers during the war a Spitfire making a forced landing on Goodison Road in Liverpool.
Anyone got a I.D for this one , or even better a photo of it.
Dad says the Pilot refused help as he thought the spit was going to explode !.
