Hi Chaps,
I have this seat that I thought may have been Hurricane, however after contacting Tony ( Rocketeer ) it seems it may be in fact from an early Meteor, the serial No’s don’t fit for a Hurricane either.
Here are the pictures anyway, my question is, if not Hurricane is this the nearest thing you can get to one without actually having one, if you know what I mean !
If putting this into a cockpit project for instance, 1. Would it fit? 2. Could it be made to fit and look like the real thing? Does anyone know of a Hurricane where one of these has been used?
It is 43cm wide across the seat, I think the Hurricane was 41cm ?
Any advice would be great. 🙂

why the seats were missing (and there doesn’t seem to be any to be found) from my T.7 when I bought it last year:D
They,ve been turned into dollars for the Hurricane resto market.

Yes, it is Meteor – possibly T7 or night fighter.
It is incredibly close to a Hurricane seat, and will fit with no problem. LF363 had one fitted when restored.
