That brought back some memories,, i was out there 11 yrs. ago for an airshow at Edwards, to watch the SR fly for the last time (officially). I visited the airpark the day before the show as i was staying in Palmdale. I drove around some and saw another SR behind a fence, (Plant 42?) so i joined in the traffic going through the fence and drove over to the SR whereupon a whole bunch of Security folks showed up and threw me out! I have to get out that way again,,,
