Just incase you were going to visit Duxford,Hangar 3 , The OFMC and sea / naval hangar is closed to the public for the winter and also Building 8 LAND WARFARE,hope this will save someone a journey if tey are specifically looking for either of those.

Looking at the Duxford website it isn’t only Hangar 1 and the Land Warfare building that is closed. Other hangars will be closed on a monthly basis, one at a time, too. The charge for entry is reduced to £14.95.

It was only Hangar 3 [the OFMC /Sea and Naval hangar] and the Landwarfare that was shut yesterday.

Just says winter closure ,so i guess someone has worked out they will save money,on what i don’t know.
There were no lights on today,didn’t need them natural light through the roof was ample.,and i guess the heating will be kept on to preserve the exhibits and also any staff that may be working there.

And another thread linked us to the IWM site which offers reduced rate tickets, whilst some of the exhibits are closed.
