I have a wooden propeller that’s been hanging up in my workshop for years, on many occasions I’ve idly wondered what aircraft type it was fitted to, the following information is embossed on the prop.
GIPSY VI DRG NO. N207 LHT
D1830 P231 AC.45805 JUNE 36
I gather that it’s for a 6 cylinder Gipsy engine, Left hand Tractor and was made in June 1936. Would anyone be able to tell me more?

Ages since I mucked about with wooden props but:
Diametre 1830mm , Pitch 2310mm (distance forward of one revolution of that pitch.) Drawing No 207 AC may be aircraft number but not a familiar one.
My guess would be either
1. a BA Double Eagle (one of these was built with Gypsy VI’s) built 1936
2. A Swallow II modified to sport a Gypsy VI.
Nothing else really fits the Drawing Number.

The original Percival Mew Gull had a Gypsy Six engine and a fixed pitch propeller, later it was changed to a Six 2 engine and a VP prop….just a thought

It’s a very coarse prop, compared to those I’ve seen on Rapides. I would imagine it’s for a faster machine.
Good suggestion about the Moth Club, I suppose I could try DH Support as well.
