Reminds me of a horse called “Bennion’s Spitfire”.

Years ago I recovered the wreck of Plt Off George Bennions Spitfire (41 Squadron) north of Brighton. The landowner was a race-horse owner and he was so impressed with meeting George and seeing the Spitfire recovered from his land that he named his horse accordingly…..
