Does anyone happen to have a spare ‘Instinctive Cutout’ switch found on several Dunlop type stick grips and yokes, most commonly seen on Vulcan and Vixen and a few others IIRC – as far as I know they are all the same type and size. See attached photo….
Beer tokens available if you have one!!
Thanks,
Mark.

I’ve got some odd ACO switches and bits; I’ll have a look and see what there is.

Thanks for that, I’m using easily findable micro-switch rubber boots and they do the job perfectly, however the shape is slightly different.
Just looked at SV PNs, and it is an ICO switch as you say.

PM sent – many thanks.
Re the rubber boots – I’ve got loads missing on my grips – managed to replace a few by buying complete switches, but never seen the boots seperately. The trim-switch boots I think will pose a problem though. Dunno if Bruce will have any, or perhaps Chris Wilson (Jetart design).

Thanks for the clarification, yes you can have mine, came off my Vixen grip.
PM me your addy and I will pop it in the post.
Talking of which has anyone here got spare rubber boots for the trigger, trimmer, and camera switch for the Vixen grip?

@ Jon – yeah, aint it always the way though – when you want one you can never find one – already done loads of searches on ebay and can’t find it.
@Pagen – no, I’m trying to replace a missing one actually – just a hole there. It’s not the Vulcan B.2 type which is ‘fatter’ or perhaps deeper. It’s usually used as the ‘oh my God’ switch or ‘Instinctive Cutout’ for the autopilot. You tend to activate the switch instinctively when you grab the stick or yoke with your usual ‘flying’ hand (in the case of a yoke with one fitted). On the Vulcan and Victor it was certainly used to disconnect the a/p, not sure on the Vixen, but my Vixen grip has one.
If you have one spare and begging, I’ll certainly be grateful as it’s not needed to be working, just to fill a gaping hole!! PM me and we can sort out beer tokens etc….

I’m replacing a defunct one with a brand new one (possibly what you’re trying to do!), it still looks as it should but dosen’t always spring back up and the wires have come loose from the solders.
You are welcome to have it though.
Can you explain the ‘instinctive cut out’ bit? I thought it was a press to transmit.

No doubt a daft question but have you checked EBay? There was one advertised on there a few weeks ago……
