608 Squadron

RAF Mosquito XXV (KB405) 6T-K of 608 Squadron was lost after an operation to Berlin on 5/3/45.
The crew of F/L L N Hobbs and F/O Robert Methuen Dennis, 439280, RAAF survived.
They were posted as “safe”.
Was their fate in the hands of the Resistance or were they admitted to a German controlled hospital for treatment?

mHuxt,
Thanks, but I viewed the records and they do not help.

I have them on KB406, 8/9 March. I’ve no further information on where they were until Liberation (though BCL suggests the latter of your two choices), however there may be something in Dennis’ file at the Australian National Archives. I believe it can be requested from them, though it’s not been digitised:
