My Grandfather, William Hugh Ewen received several inscribed Rose Bowls for some of his pioneering adventures such as being the first airman to land, or crash in Lincolnshire, the first man to cross the Firth of Forth and several other events. These are no longer in the family.
Is anyone aware of a collector of aviation related memorabilia such as these?
He was also one of the Daily Mail airmen and I sm keen to find any reference to his travels for the Daily Mail.

Yes, after he left the Royal Air Force in 1918, he seems to have given up aviation and returned to music. By the time of his death in 1947 all these gifts and awards had vanished and I think that somewhere in a museum or possibly a home sits one of these. The family has a metal ashtray and a pocket watch but it would be good to locate a Rose Bowl.
Thanks for looking
