Hi,
Does anyone know of any tangible remains from Hurricane V6722 Shot down 15th October 1940 and was dug by the London Air Museum many moons ago? Would like to display a few relics with the story in the museum. Andy do you know of any bits still surviving? perhaps in your collection;)

I was at Sgt. Pilot Fenemore’s memorial last week – he was my mother’s cousin. Do you still need a photo of anything? I was speaking to the women “on duty” at the church where his log book is kept & they said some pieces of the aircraft were with a chap at Fairalls Timber Merchants in Godstone as he was first one the scene.

Fast response there Andy! and a good display of “readiness” but I have been shot down in flames it seems!

The only parts that I knew to have been extant were the few items recovered by the former London Air Museum. These were later acquired (c.1982) by Tangmere Military Aviation Museum but were amongst items disposed of during the late 1980s by the museum as not relevant to the museum or its (then) collection policy.
I have no idea where they are now, I’m afraid.
