Any ideas ?

Hi All,

With not having much to do with fixed wing doofers, can anyone help with the following.

I’ve been given a P.E.C but I haven’t got a clue what seat it would have been matched to and thus no idea to the aircraft type either.

It’s details are, on the main body:-

Hymatic – Redditch – England
Part MSC – 201 ??? (could be 012)
Serial No – PB 352
ST Ref – 2770/611?358
Issue – ????2 + the air ministry mark
Then in a seperate circle it has F8 – 240

On the Oxy tube it has:-
?AS5231/F/60/ISS7
BATCH No 7225B
Cure Date 3/Q/76
32C/701

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chaps,

Thanks for all the input, I’ll give Honeywell Hymatic a go and take it from there.

It would be nice to see the other side of this PEC, I have something that looks similar, and was told it could be V Force related?

Good luck.

I would think that PEC’s would be pretty standard across all the RAF fast jets so take your pick.

Company is now Honeywell Hymatic – might be worth dropping them an email to try and identify it from their archives perhaps?

I know that parts for Hawks are made in Redditch, but there are a few industries here the are involved in aviation. The company is still up and running but I have been told they have changed thier name possibly to Aeroquip but I am not 100% certain on this.

Struggling with that one – the pic looks like it’s missing the outer body – certainly the locking handle is missing from the rear? Sorry – despite searching I can’t help.:o

Hi Hunter,

Here’s a pic I’ve just taken (attached), hope it shows you the things needed to id it.

Cheers

Do you have a photo by chance? Some I could recognise from a pic…
