I am normally one of the first to knock the BBC but I have to say they have exelled themselves with their coverage of the Battle of Britain Anniversary. Some fantastic programmes at peak hours, todays coverage of the Westminster Abbey service was very good, First Light was just wonderful, and the just finished “Ewan MCGregor gets to fly in a Spitfire cz he’s famous and I’m not” was also very good. This week has been worth the licence fee for this year.

i’ll fully agree with the first two choices !!
however i turned off and my eyes glazed over and i fell asleep when the mcgeggor one came on !!
the most fascinating part was actualy his brother ( the programme would have stood better with him alone !! )
what i saw of it was great filming but not enough to keep me awake personaly
but then i have just endured a weekend of floods , waking up in a tent 6 inches underwater , mild hypothermia , a mate griping all weekend cos he thinks he’s broken a rib going a**e over t*t over the tent guy rope
severe hangover after friday night
all to see ten minuites of the real things ….. priceless !!
