I’ve been looking around for pictures of Harriers (and the AV-8, Kestrel, overseas operators, etc.) and although I’ve come-up with some interesting images, I wonder if anyone knows of any leads where I might find more?
In particular, I’d really like to find some of the old RAF official photographs, most of which appear to have disappeared now. Great shame as they have a certain nostalgic appeal now!
I’ve also been looking around for pictures of the prototypes, and the Kestrel trials at West Raynham.
If anyone has any suggestions do please give me a shout!
Thanks!

Are these photos for another book?
Have you tried contacting Philip Jarrett, ex assistant editor at the other mag we’re not allowed to mention. He must have tens of thousands of old photos in his collection and so will probably have loads on P.1127/Harrier. He can be tempted to part with them for a while, but for a fee!

They sure don’t build them like they used to, what about the archives of a certain other aviation publication? Are we allowed to mention it on here?

For the RAFG Harriers you can’t beat this resource, http://www.sg-etuo.de/index.php?n=Squadrons.No4SquadronGR3?p=2. Some fantastic and clear pictures of GR.1s-3s & T.4s.
Psychnaut from that site posts on here and he is very helpful.
