Surprised no-one has mentioned the excellent Hurricane Manual. This series is excellent.
well done Fluffy!
Saw it on the shelves at the IWM Lambeth today. Some people have suggested it is better than the Spit one

Well my copy of Haynes Hurricane Manual un-expectingly arrived from the U.K. just over a week after I ordered it- most efficient.
This is a wonderful book on the Hurricane with the right blend of coverage on the evolution of the Hurricane and the structure of the aircraft itself to put it near the top of my books on the Hurricane.
To top it off there are quite a few photographs which I have not seen published elsewhere.
I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a Hurricane book that leans it’s focuses towards the aircraft rather than it’s exploits.

Amazon is showing a “BBMF Boxed Set” for publication next month, comprising the Lanc, Spit and Hurricane books. I see that there is also a Mustang equivalent coming out, by Jarrod Cotter and Maurice Hammond.

Many thanx Dave much appreciated. However, the huge work Mr & Mrs Fluffy did on the rest (and the co-author) has made it a fantastic book worthy of any book shelf!

…and to repeat what i said privately recently Tony, the chapter you’ve written about your ‘Jessamy’ project was very well done & a good insight into entering such a project if on a budget.

Didn’t know that it had been published, will have to look for a copy in Canada.
Thanks for the heads-up.
