War career on Mosquitos and Halifaxes, and hero of the hour as captain of a hijacked Sabena 707 in the 70s, ending up flying 747s. An active contributor to PPRune, but he seem to have slipped though the net on these forums even though he died a month ago. Old boy of my school, as it happens, where he would have been about three years below Bob Hutchison, Guy Gibson’s radio operator.
