I am researching a master from my old School. His name was J. Kevin P Nash & we know that he was a Spitfire Pilot, after the conflict he was to become a Dominican Priest and took the name of Fr Hugh Nash he taught Maths at Blackfriars School, Laxton, Corby, Northants, Fr Hugh left in about 1962, when he went to take a degree in a Cambridge University, where he met a lady and they subsiquently married and had two daughters . On behalf of all the Old Boys I am trying to find out as much as possible about Kevin / Hugh Nash. We know that he did not like talking about his war.
Some where in his war time service he met Ms Marianne Elizabeth Catterall who was a senior officer at WRAF ,at RAF Wing in Bucks, she was with the Repatriation of POW’s, they became friends and after the war, she became a Matron at Penryn School, Chaddesley Corbett, Worcs, and also at Blackfriars School, Laxton, Nr Corby, Northants.
We would like to know everything about both these two persons, did your relatives ever come in contact with either of them?
Thanking you all in advance.
