Storch vs Lysander vs SA Pioneer

Given Peter Holloways recent Storch flight and facinating insights, and the Lysander STOL limitations revealed in that thread..
I was just wondering whether the much later Scottish Aviation (single) Pioneer managed to improve much upon either in STOL performance…???
