I’m closing this thread; its too early to worry about what might happen to the aeroplane; there are still people hurting for the loss of a very skilled and well loved pilot.
As I was one of the team that built the aircraft, I feel I can make that judgement.

The damage to the aircraft looks (according to my interpretation of the pics) to not be of serious nature, but it obviously needs a full check up and plenty of new parts.

This is very sad….my condolences go out to his family, and all those affected. 🙁 Really sad loss to the aviation community, both for the pilot, and the aircraft. Flying from age 17 to 68…thats a loooong flying career, in which time it seems he became a bit of a celebrity in Scandinavia, and with good reason. 31,400 flying hours, on a lot of different types…RIP
Do we know yet how extensive SM845’s damage is? As in, how long it’d take to re-build, if thats the plan?
