Just a quick heads up for anyone Who may be interested in attending.
On Sunday, 29th August the Retford Branch of the RAFA are holding a public memorial service at the Grave side of Sgt Dennis Noble – Retford’s only BofB casualty.
Sgt Noble was killed on 30th August & his aircraft was recovered & now on display at Tangemere.
The service is to be at 14:30 & his grave is located in the town cemetary located behind the St Josephs Church, Babworth Road, Retford, Notts. (on the A620 ajacent to the East Coast Railway).
