BBMF Overnight at North Weald

We were privileged to hear four Merlins approach in finger four formation at low level this evening when the BBMF arrived in style to spend the night at the airfield as part of their BoB 70th Anniversary airfield tour.

Squadron Leader William Pearce is a great friend of North Weald Airfield. He flew Hurricanes and Thunderbolts in Burma, and was on hand to greet the BBMF pilots. The shot of him sitting in one of the Spitfires sums up a great day!
