One More Stranger to Be Identified

Hello friends,

the attached picture appeared some years ago on airwarfareforum.com. Nobody there could identify it, although a crowd of experts used to gather there.

Sorry for the bad state of the aircraft and the picture quality as well. We were not able to decide if the aircraft is French or British. A similarity to the Latecoere 298 was often mentioned, but widely rejected.

The aircraft was already extensively discussed about on warbirdsforum.com, see the following link. And is again, after I announced there that the Weymann CTW 231 was found (which I had asked there too and what was told in another thread here). Please, look there for not repeating the same arguments:

So, if you think you know that type, please tell it to us. Somebody with good connections to French forums may post the question there too.

Thank you for you labour!

Regards, RT

John was absolutely right (as usual). These French friends identified it: http://forum.aviation-ancienne.fr/t6680p30-qu-est-ce-que-c-est

Contributor Marc_91 says, he had another picture, but unfortunately his computer crashed.
