Bomber Command's first VC anniversary

Whilst most of the key dates this year focus on ‘The Few’, it was 70 years ago tonight that R. A. B. Learoyd took off in his Hampden for the Dortmund-Ems raid which won him the first VC for Bomber Command of the war.
