Hurricane washout question – please help!

I’ve scratched my head and measured everything over and over. There’s no escaping it – contrary to all the written sources I have seen, it APPEARS that the Hurricane wing (at least the fabric one) has a 1 degree washout between root and the point where the ’rounding’ begins. There appears to be 1 degree of incidence ‘off the spar’ at root, and 0 degree at spar tip. This is the only way the computer model of the fabric wing, based on the components that we do have, makes sense.

It is often stated (in spitfire studies) that while the Spitfire had washout, the Hurricane didn’t. Hurricane sources are silent.

Does anyone out there have the definitive answer for me?

Edit – just to be clear, I’m not including the 2 degree incidence imparted by the spars’ alignment to the aircraft centre line. If I did, the figures would appear to be 3 degrees at root and 2 degrees at spar tip.
