The above aircraft would seem to be the last example of the breed until its cancellation in 1956 but what was the cause of its demise? Did it crash or die ignominously in the back of a hangar?
It was rebuilt in the ’50’s and belonged to the Vintage Aeroplane Club. Was there a glue problem with this type of aircraft as most of them did not survive the war. :confused:
