At Flying Legends last weekend in the The Aviation Bookshop tent they had about half a dozen plastic crates full of old mainly black and white photographs. They were many and varied and looked rare to me, photos of the manufactures workshops and prototype aircraft I didn’t recognise.
the period seem to be from the 20’s to the 50’s.
I pulled out a large format photo of a Hawker Fury [ monoplane ] prototype, which I have seen in books but this was clearly an old print from the original negative, mine for £3.00!
Did anybody else walk away with a gem?
