I have restored many, many, lighthouse and nav aids over the years, which has brought a lot of comments, some say, leave things in their original state, others who have seen items I have restored to museum standards say “Looks better ” when restored. ZRX has posted photos of an old tool box, which was in a sorry state, and has since restored it,to pristine condition, however, fellow member LONGSHOT posted he would have prefered for the tool chest to be left unrestored.
What do other members think?, restore or leave well alone.
