Slightly off topic, i know, but a new floral arrangement has gone up outside the Council House in central Birmingham.
It’s an aircraft and is presumably meant to be a Spitfire or a Hurricane, although to me it looks like a tailwheeled Tucano.
I’ve got some pictures of it on my mobile phone but I can’t download or post them until tonight.
And before some bright spark asks, if it is a Spitfire no it won’t be in Volume 2

Great idea and well executed… however it does contain one of my pet hates: the tail flash is back to front. (I’m not knocking it – its a great concept!)
My other hate is when one of my engineering students sees any RAF aircraft (we have a JP), looks at the fin and says ‘Is it French?…’
Well done Brummies – more of the same in other cities with a solid aviation link please.
