I see in the Express today there is a new book published about the Hurricane by Express colomnist Leo McKinstry. Is anyone familiar with this book, have you read it yet, is it a good buy???

McKinstry also did a very good job with his Lancaster book. He’s not a specialist aviation writer but he’s managed to find a fresh approach to familiar subjects – I’m looking forward to seeing his take on the Hurricane story.
I think i’ll get the book anyway.

I bought Leo McKinstry’s ‘Spitfire’ paperback in a remaindered bookshop to read on a camping holiday (usually a one-way trip for any book) and I was pleasantly surprised by the detail that it went into. I’m no Spitfire expert so I’d welcome a review from some knowledgeable person who has read it.

It’s called ‘The Victor of the Battle of Britain’?
