Not strictly historic avaition so my apologies. Does anyone know where I might get hold of a 1/72 Airfix kit of a Westland Sea King HAR3? Or failing that does anyone know here I might get a set of decal s for this model?
The reason I ask is that its our ATC wing field day in a couple of weeks and one of the model competitions is for a Sea King HAR3. Only Airfix appear to have stopped making this particular version of the model. We can have a go at converting the current AEW2 model they have on sale but need the decals to do this.

Call 01636 707170 after 10am tomorrow morning, the lady who answers should be able to check the stock for you.
They do mail order and they will also put it on one side for you to collect!
Remember you don’t have to pay an admission fee if you just want to shop! 😀

The HAR.3 kit should still be readily obtainable, it’s one of those classic kits that’s gone on and on.
Failing that there is the new Hasegawa 1:48th version, but slightly toasty at the £70.00 mark!!
