Duxford Visit – 18Jun10

As the F-105 is now on its way to Poland, The Hind and Pucara have been slightly repositioned and the Zero has been moved to fill the empty space. Must have been a corporate event on as there were lots of people on the ‘Posh’ balcony of AirSpace and Taz was up and down all day and the Tiger Moths were flying in pairs to the north of the airfield. T-28 Fennec went up twice for a bit of display flying with different pilots. Mid-day and a C-47A, the one in D-Day stripes and J8 in big letters just behind the cockpit, arrived and parked up. I hung around for the afternoon as it left at about 4.15 in the company of Spitfire AR213. The only own side to that was that it was raining and I actually had some waterproofs on.
