Sad news:
As was confirmed by foto in another forum, the recently finished FW 190 with 4-blade prop Ash engine owned by Bob Russell groundlooped in Camden, SC.

Fortunately nobody was hurt, as far as damage is obvious in the pic, I believe it is repairable, but I am no expert at all.

Glad to see that the pilot was unhurt and the aircraft appears not to be in too bad a condition. BTW: Does anybody know the registration for this example?

Hmm, notice the port U/C has ripped out of itself out completely and the crease on the starboard wing.

Heard this news a couple of days back, it must be very disappointing for everyone involved. Here’s hoping the damage isn’t too bad and it’s back up again soon.
