Short Stirling bomb load

I have just seen this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaN91_NGJoI

At the end ( 5:05 ) it shows bombs being released and it looks as if they were loaded vertically and are falling tail first when released.

Is this an illusion or did Stirlings have the bombs loaded vertically ?

For some reason, that snippet at 5:05 is rather ironically of a Heinkel 111 bomb bay, hence the bombs falling out backwards.

This picture would suggest not. But I’m no expert so doubtless somebody will be along shortly to better inform you.
