Intercom box from which aircraft?

I got this with a box of other bits. It looks American, was made in Canada and has a big AM stencil on the side, type MI22A, ref 110H/821. Does anyone know what it might have been fitted to? Thanks!

Thanks Peter, that’s brilliant. Very odd Lanc though, it has the same autopilot controls as a B17?

Thanks Peter and Paul, I’d trawled through a lot of photos but failed to find a pic. The A crown M rather than broad arrow made me think earlier but that is very helpful. Cheers.

Not much help, I’m afraid, but this pdf document shows a similar one (half way down, Accession No. 331), an MI22, without the A.

These were used in post war lancaster bombers amongst others.
