i must admit the avro york photo looked good, are there any other avro Yorks still about or have the gas Axe claimed them?
If you mean complete Avro Yorks, then there are two here in the UK.
1. At Duxford.
2, At Cosford.

Just to clarify the engines were recovered by a group out of the UK NOT CWH. They were a bit messy in recovery as in leaving props and cowlings scattered around. One would think that the undamaged props and cowlings would have been useful?
Sadly some of the native people accidentally set the plane on fire several years ago while sheltering inside.

It looks like someone salvaged the Merlins from the York since 1972…wonder who?
