Does anyone know what the colour of the interior of Short Sterlings and Sunderlands were ? I realise they could be different and am interested in the basic interior colour and cockpit area if different . I have only seen one interior photo which appears to show a silver or grey as opposed to the interior green I would have expected .

I`ve seen Stirlings with and without the rear undercarriage doors fitted with the rear UC fixed down

Thanks for that . When the Sterling tail wheels were fixed in the down position were the doors left on or removed ?

The inside of the Sunderland at Dx is certainly green.

Stirling interiors tended to be silver with black interior around the entrance door and parachute hatches on Mk 4s.
