Mystery RAF Badge

This was found recently been a metal detectorist in the Hawarden area (I hope I spelled that right!) Obviously RAF related because of the eagle, and certainly WW2 era from the King’s crown. But what is it? Sorry there is nothing much to show the size (not my photo) but it must be quite small from the edge of the coin just in shot. Over to you guys…..

It is most definitely an eagle
I can remember hearing pay day described as “the day the golden eagle sh*ts”

Nope, it’s an eagle

Interestingly, the one in the W&B badge is facing the wrong way?

Because it’s one of a pair of handed collar badges!
