help to identify ww2 part please

Hi found a number of these while i was walking a disused ww2 bomber airfield (with permission from the land owner).The base was home to lancaster and mosquito but have no idea this is it has hinges some type of access door to something i have no idea hopefully you have !!!!

Yes thanks seen a diagram of a small bomb container looks like the partition and locating brackets at the sides.

Actually small bomb container could be i did find some old brass bomb pistols nearby and was near where one of the dispersal points was.It is made of aluminium also so definately is not caterpillar track.

Links from a caterpillar track or some kind of agricultural conveyor would be my guess..

A mate told me he thought it was from a turret but i am not convinced
